Rooms
Richland Country Club has several rooms that can be booked for our member's use. Please see the following detailed room descriptions below:
Richland Room
Overlooking the golf course, the Richland Room is a beautifully appointed room for functions of 80 or less. It can also be combined with the Johnny Palmer, Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson rooms to allow for seating between 80 and 250. These three smaller seating rooms make up about half of the Grand Richland Ballroom.
Richland Ballroom
The Richland Ballroom is made up of the Richland, Johnny Palmer,Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson rooms and is the ideal setting for parties of 80 -- 250. The room can accommodate seated dining functions of 220 (without band, dance floor or buffets). Buffet Dinners may easily accommodate 80 -- 160 guests and receptions with band and dance floor can accommodate 275 people with limited seating. Additional seating can be provided on the Richland Terrace which offers a spectacular view of the golf course.
Hancock Room
The picturesque Hancock Room has views of the Golf Course and Pool area and is the ideal venue for small dinner parties, bridesmaid luncheons, and business meetings. The Hancock Bar, named after Billy Hancock, Richland Maitre D' of over 50 years, is the perfect social gathering spot when used in conjunction with the Richland Ballroom. The Hancock Bar can comfortably seat 50 for dinner at round tables or accommodate a meeting of 25 conference style.
Presidents' Room
The Presidents' Room is a warm and inviting room which is perfect for a private family dinner or business meeting. The Presidents' Room will accommodate a maximum of 16 people. Guests in this room have the option of a la carte dining or a pre-set menu.
Small Meeting Rooms
The Byron Nelson Room , Ben Hogan Room and Johnny Palmer Room are three rooms which make up approximately 1/2 of the Grand Richland Ballroom but can be divided into individual rooms with a movable wall. These rooms will each accommodate approximately 20 people and are ideal for small meetings of an informal nature.
Additional Meeting Space
The Jack Nicklaus Room can be booked as an addition to the ballroom for parties on Saturday nights in excess of 300 guests and with the house rules regarding minimums being followed.
The Adult Dining Room, used in conjunction with the Richland Ballroom and Jack Nicklaus Dining Room, will allow accommodations for up to 800 guests.
The Pool Grille is a bright venue, ideal for children's parties. The outside seating is excellent for a casual picnic atmosphere for your family event or birthday during good weather months. The pool grille is used exclusively for members but is available for private parties after pool hours, or before or after pool season. The pool may be included as a party area with prior arrangements through the catering department, and approval of a certified lifeguard.
The Ladies Card Room on the main floor of the club is a favorable gathering spot for weekly bridge games and meetings. The ladies of Richland have priority on the use of the room. This room may be reserved for special functions as well, if the schedule permits.
