FAQs

Q: How many people will the club hold for an event
A: We can accommodate up to 800 people for a "cocktail" style reception with limited seating using all interior rooms with the exception of the Waxo Green Grill which is always reserved for member dining.

Q: I have been asked to "sponsor" a party for a friend, what are my obligations if I do this?
A: Richland Country Club does allow members to sponsor events for family and friends.  When you sponsor an event, you assume responsibility for the guests if there is any damage to the Club or if the guests do not pay their bill promptly.

Q: Does everyone pay the same amount of house charge when they have an event?
A: No, if the party is held by a member and is for the members use the house charge is 20% of the final food and beverage bill. If the party is held by a non-member (although member sponsored),the house charge is 30% of the final food and beverage bill.

Q: My daughter is getting married, how much is a reception going to cost?
A: Because every party is unique, I cannot tell you exactly what your daughter's reception would cost without meeting with you to determine your needs. The price of the reception is based on the food and beverage selected, linens if rented, valet services, etc. For Saturday evening receptions, there are food and beverage minimums that must be met based on the rooms being utilized.  At our first meeting, we would discuss your budget and begin the process of working together to make your reception (or any other party)a memorable evening.

Q: If I am having a dinner party, how many servers will be working my party?
A: The guideline at Richland Country Club for private functions is one server per twenty guests. This number is based on years of experience of our management staff. If for some reason you feel that additional servers are needed, we will be happy to discuss your individual needs.
