Pool Rules
1. No running, pushing or roughhousing.
2. No animals.
3. No metal or bulky articles permitted in the pool.
4. No balls, rafts, etc. allowed without permission.
5. Cut-off Blue jeans and pants are not permitted in the pool.
6. Put all trash in the receptacles provided.
7. Persons violating the pool rules may be asked to leave the facilities.
8. Chewing gum and glass containers are prohibited on the deck around the pool.
9. Before using diving boards, members must demonstrate swimming skills to the guard.
10. When using the diving boards, always dive straightforward, never dive to the side.
11. Divers must watch for swimmers before diving, and only one bounce is permitted off the board.
12. Swimmers must not swim in the diving area.
13. Only one person at a time is allowed on a diving board.
14. Children using inflatable flotation aids must be accompanied by parent(s) at all times. Inflatable flotation aids must be kept in the shallow water.
15. Members may not send guests to the pool -- all guests must be accompanied by their host member. All persons must sign in before entering pool area. A babysitter or guardian who accompanies children to the pool must be at least 16 years of age and must notify the lifeguards.
16. Bathers will not be permitted to enter any part of the upper level of the clubhouse wearing bathing suits.
17. Club towels WILL NOT be taken from locker rooms or pool dressing rooms.
18. Anyone entering the snack bar for food, beverages and restrooms is required to dry off before entering.
19. Children who are at least 10 years old and are able to swim may be left unattended. Children under 10 years of age who are on the Swim Team may be left unattended during swim practice only. Otherwise, they must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible sitter who is at least 16 years of age.
20. Responsibility for abuse of any club equipment must rest with a club member. Charges for repairs or replacement of such equipment will be made according to the cost involved. Anyone destroying or defacing pool property will be asked to leave.
21. Please be considerate of others when using the telephone at the pool. Confine use of the telephone to a minimum of time, but under no circumstaances to exceed three minutes.
22. Richland Country Club reserves the right to refuse the use of the swimming pool and facilities to any guest.
23. No children under 14 years of age will be permitted in Clubhouse without parent or guardian. The pool locker rooms and snack bar are an exception for children ten years or older.
24. Persons less than 18 years of age shall not be permitted in the men's or women's locker rooms unless accompanied by a member or member's spouse and attired in golf or exercise wear. In no case are children under 18 in swim attire allowed in the main locker rooms. No one of any age should enter the clubhouse in wet swim suits. Children and those in wet swim suits are required to use the pool locker rooms.
25. Swim diapers are mandatory for children who are not toilet trained. If you do not bring swim diapers, they will be available for purchase at the check in desk.
Guest Fees:
1. Guest fees are $6.00 each guest per day.
2. There is no charge for grandchildren of members provided the member is in attendance at the Club.
3. There is no charge for nannie/ babysitters who are at least 16 years of age.
